炎熱天氣食品儲存的重要信息

在炎熱的天氣（通常從 4 月到10月中旬），所有堅果/乾果/種子都應小心儲存。這些是天然和半易腐爛的產品，應在 15°C 以下的涼爽條件下保存，以保持其質量和持久的新鮮度，避免食品害蟲並防止酸化。

無溫差涼爽的場所雪櫃空調儲藏室（低於 15°C）。在上述任何冷藏建議中的密封容器或密封袋中。將產品存放在遠離氣味強烈的食物的地方，因為堅果和種子屬於多孔結構，容易及快速吸受任何強烈的氣味。對於零售店，存放產品時應避免陽光直射，並使設施保持在持續涼爽的空調溫度下。

RECOMMENDED STORAGE FOR NUTS AND SEEDS CHECKLIST

Refrigeration.Cool room.Freezer.Air-conditioned storage room (under 15°C).In air-tight containers or sealed bags in any of the cool storage recommendations above.Store products away from strong-odour foods as nuts and seeds are porous and very susceptible to catching strong smells quickly.For retail spaces store products away from direct sunlight and keep facilities at continuous cool air-conditioned temperature.

Nuts and seeds do not contain high moisture keeping them in a refrigerator or freezer is the best way of storage as they won’t freeze lasting for up to 12 months if kept under these conditions. You will find that they remain as fresh and crunchy as on the day you bought them!

Dried fruits contain natural moisture, it can appear on the surface of the dried fruit as water droplets or sugar frosting. 

Stock should be frequently checked, and products rotated according to their expiry or ‘best before’ date to avoid spoilage or any possible infestation.

CLAIMS AND RETURNS

After the 3 days’ timeframe, we cannot accept CLAIMS FOR RETURNS OR REFUNDS, as we are not deemed responsible for any deterioration or infestation occurring in the products after the set period. It is up to your own discretion to store your products under the right conditions, which is in a cool area during the recommended period of November through till the mid of October or until the weather cools below a minimum overnight temperate of 15°C.

If you have inadequate storage facilities, please avoid ordering excess stock, at least during the warmer months. Spoilage can occur due to warmth and humidity even if the products are unopened and still in the original packaging.
